A six-week workshop directed by Dory Oliver for 2nd to 5th grade students has reached capacity.
The workshop is designed to teach the basics of theatre so participants can discover what they like about drama. Improv games and other activities will help them become comfortable with being on stage and performing before an audience.
Dory Oliver is a student at Monticello High School. She has been active at Live Arts in both performance and training. To her credit are performances in Midsummer Night's Dream, The Taming of the Shrew, Peter Pan, Servant of Two Masters. Her training includes clowning, and internship and Live Arts' Summer Musical Theater Institute.
