Lou Ann Volpendesta's Clothesline Theater presents . . .
"Mything Persons: Some new Adaptations of Greek Myths
August 31 thru November 18th
Description: Using masks, movement, improvisation and variations of a Greek Chorus, each class will create its own adaptation of a Greek myth. Beginning with improvisational theater games that generate excitement and wake up the creative response, we’ll use our discoveries to give the play depth and shape. Along the way we will explore how to embody a character, speak with power and expression, and move together as a group to create visually striking theater. Each class will perform it’s original work on the night of Nov. 18th. So dust off your muse, put on some loose clothes, and come prepared for some serious delight!
